Slice-of-Life
Meadows with sakura. Where you start, and where you come home to.
Oddly Effective
Draw. Dig. Build your manga.
A voxel sandbox drawn like a hand-inked manga page. Type a Story Code, open a fresh Volume, and step onto a page of black ink, screentone and bold colour. Every hill, tree and cave is a block you can dig, carry and place.
Manga Craft is not released yet. These are not download links — there is nothing to download today.
What it is
Dig it, carry it, put it back somewhere better. Every hit lands with a katakana sound burst, and every combo fills the screen with speed lines.
Biomes are genres
Each genre has its own blocks, weather, music and creatures. Walk far enough and the page you are standing on changes what kind of story it tells.
Meadows with sakura. Where you start, and where you come home to.
Peaks and bamboo. Thin air, hard stone, long views.
Marshes where the shadows move. Ink riches, if you are brave about it.
Deserts full of nonsense. Nothing here is trying to be sensible.
Ruins of steel and neon. Somebody built all this, and then left.
Notice boards, quest-giving Editors, and golden animals worth chasing.
Draw, don't grid
You sit at the Artist's Desk and draw what you want from the pages of your Sketchbook.
Survive the night
Cook food, sleep on a Futon to set your respawn, and light the dark with Ink Lanterns.
At night the KAGEBOU come — living shadows — along with rolling DORON and spiky TOGERON. Fight them with the Brushblade, or build walls and wait for dawn.
Faceless by design
Nobody in Manga Craft
has a face. Not you,
not the villagers,
not the creatures.
The story is yours to draw.
No eyes, no mouth, no nose — on anything, from any angle. What is left is shape: how heavy something stands, how it leans, how fast it looks before it moves. Turn the models on this page and look for a face. You will not find one.
It is also why every creature has to earn its outline. A bunny and a shadow demon cannot be the same box in two sizes.
The Story Code
Every world saves as a Volume on your bookshelf, and every Volume has a Story Code. Send a friend the number and they get your world — the same hills, the same caves, the same villages.
An example code. Tap below to roll another.
An optional subscription. It lends you every Sealed Suit and every boost for as long as you subscribe, and turns off the sponsor pages.
It never sells you progress or in-game money: Zenii is earned, never bought, and sketch pages are found, never purchased.
The base game is complete without it.
That is the whole pitch.
The rest of it you draw.
